As far as Test Equipment, Chipper Checker as an example.
RCA probably own that patent...before they went out of business, and
sold out to France.....then China.....they probably gave Sencore the
offer to reproduce it. Sencore makes good....High Priced Test
Equipment...Good Technical Support. Good Product.
Now.......if it's gone to China.....and didn't cover all their Patent
Rights...Sencore will soon be folding...if, as someone mentioned...they
can now buy a Chipper Checker for $400 less.
I have never owned a Chipper Checker, never owned a Tad-001. Have done
quite well without them.
But...again. it's the same example of outsourcing our Technology.

BTW I have an B&K scope and NTSC generator in the truck, badly beat up
(one
wreck) that still work great after 20 years....oh yeah, you gotta take
it
apart once in a while.....
