Run it on the Variac..fluctuate line voltage//sounds like a Regulator problem. I have a set in the shop that I have sold 3 times, now use as a VCR monitor to test run VCR's. Has never shut down on me, since my shop line voltage is regulated to 115 V. If I put my Variac to 120....shut down. This is a Citizen 14"..which doesn't apply to yours. But it's a possibility. -Ed- Tel-Tek Electronics Ontario-Canada "If Apple and Microsoft can talk...why can't the rest of the World?" teltek2@xxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hivolts" <hivolts@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, January 11, 2003 12:51 AM Subject: [TechAssist] CT-32G11U fun problem > Hi Guys > This set is driving me nuts.with the back on it will run 15 mins and then shut off or about the same time.but with the back off it will run all day.I check the caps and looked for bad solder joints but found nothing.I don't think it is heat related.but can find nothing else > TIA > chuck > Staples T V > > ------------------------------------------ > Submit A Repair Tip For Everyone Here: > http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html > ------------------------------------------ > To REMOVE your email address, click here: > http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html > To CHANGE your email address, click here: > http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html > > ------------------------------------------ Submit A Repair Tip For Everyone Here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html ------------------------------------------ To REMOVE your email address, click here: http://www.tech-assist.org/unsubb.html To CHANGE your email address, click here: http://www.techassist.net/forms/change.html
