[TechAssist] Broksonic M#CCVG-1530 DVD player does not function

I have a Broksonic CCVG-1530.(13" LCD combo, only 6 months old) It came in with
a DVD stuck in it. I expected a mech problem, but it appears to be a control
problem. I can switch unit to DVD mode, but I get no response when I try to
load a disk. I have cleaned ribbon connectors, and tested loading switch. Any
ideas, I do not have a print.
