Shannen, I am JVC authorized. I checked and there are no bulletins or
tech tips for the problem you described. It sounds like the laser is
losing focus or maybe turning off , i.e. no longer lighting. Try
monitoring the focus and tracking signals with a scope and also check to
make sure the laser B+ is staying at approximately 5VDC.
