Thanks everyone. I had to set this one aside while I handled more 
pressing issues, and borrowed a 6V supply. I'm going to tackle this on 
Saturday. I'm figuring on ordering all the wax & electrolytic caps, and 
put a new vibrator into it. Still haven't checked the ground polarity, 
but will check that as well. spent some time with this today, and I'm 
pretty sure it is Negative.
