Martin We have a one in Cornwall. The crossing is approx 15m from stop line of a medium size RB. No accident problem as far as we are aware and it has been in for some years. =20 Also I was at a presentation last week that may be relevant, about Galleys RB in Essex where I think 1 side road approach only has been signalised with a stop line set back from the RB, part time signals operate when congestion is detected by an above ground cctv camera, no crossing involved however it is still a stop line close to give way at the RB and driver behaviour was better than expected, I think. Contact Tom Sidall, Atkins Essex Office for info, it's a new scheme - don't think they have accident problem. Does anyone else have puffins or pelicans on the immediate approach to (non-signalised) roundabouts? If so how many do you have, and how close are they to the roundabout give way? Has this led complaints by motorists being confused and believing that a green signal gives them priority onto the roundabout? Has it led to any accidents that you are aware of? Please discuss!
