That’s the thing, I’ve been in that situation before and usually there’s some
kind of limit for how many days you have to file a chargeback.

Yes, I share your frustration - that really sucks - and I am really
surprised. Ken is a straight shooter and I don't understand WTF - I would
still buy stuff from him so I can only figure something bad happened.
I am not sure if it's any consolation, but PR Components from Curtis Turner
are in high demand and sometimes really hard to get. My Mongoose 150/165
took 8 years to get. The 2/3 Scale Nike's Jack got (with help from Jack G)
took almost that long as well. Rod will tell you about the Coupler (ISC)
debacle that took all year and then when I got the coupler it was the wrong
frigging size.
Gloria Robinson and Mike Stoop have a better relationship with Curtis
because they MOVE product (and fast) so I can only gather that Curtis sent
stuff to them before he did Kennison...
Anyhow, don't crucify him, he is the only other game left in town (besides
AMW/Madcow) getting high-end stuff.
I will follow up today...

Long lead times / etc aren’t really what bothers me… heck we all know
sometimes we have to wait 6 months to get the right loads we want ;)
Rocketry isn’t much of an ASAP hobby and we need patience….
What is confusing and frustrating is the lack of communication… even a
simple blast mailer to all the order holders explaining that there are
component supply issues and he is doing the best he can, but is asking for
a bit of patience…..
I have left 3 emails and 3 voice messages and have not heard anything
back.. to be honest i was starting to wonder if he was OK or if there was
some sort of other (maybe personal?) issue going on…

Hey Guys,
What I do know is that after Black Friday, it seems Curtis shipped all of
his stuff to Madcow and sidelined Ken!
Some of you guys may know that it takes a long time to get stuff from
Curtis, but his components are usually second to none.
Anyhow, besides Gloria/Robert, and Madcow, he is the only person that gets
Performance Rocketry (Curtis Turner) kits;
in fact, he gets some items from Curtis you general won't find anywhere
else (like P98 and the Boat-tail ARCAS, 1/2 Scale Patriot, etc).
I've bought a lot of stuff from Ken over the years, I'm really surprised
about this since he is reliable and dependable and can
vouch for him - I never would have sent those items to the list if they
were not legit - unfortunately it looks like some are long lead-time items.
I put a call in to him and will talk to him later today and keep you
posted.

I bought the Performer 98 when it was announced on sale in mid-December.
That's a month ago and I don't see a single email communication about
status, expected shipping date, etc. I understand that most rocket
companies are single person or very small but that doesn't mean that
customer service should be absent.

For all the other kids wondering where the "F" your kit(s) are at, this
is the last emails I have had with Ken ( read from bottom to top ):
Ok, we are all wondering what is the delay? We were under the impression
you had all these kits in stock, was that not the case?
Will my kit be shipped on Monday?
