I remember my first Level 1 attempt back in the late 1990s was a PML
AmRaam rocket with those nice double sets of fins and how half of them got
sheared off as it came down by parachute and the the power lines acted as
the
knife to take off the fins. I was so mad but those are the breaks.

Ah, thanks! That's good to know, and responsive to the intent
of my original inquiry, which was to be able to find out where
to avoid the "quicksand and agent orange" as James D. put it,
