None of the valid mathematical models in the research below suggest such a
56% infection rate unless the situation is completely out of control (e.g.
there is somehow a systemic infection in California which he is not telling
everyone about)

But lets do the math and assume somehow they computed this as 56%

There are 40M people in California: .56* 40 = 22.4M

Many people say the situation here will be like Italy (did Italy come out
and say 56% of their population will be infected?).  Anyhow, assuming 8.3%
mortality rate then they are predicting 1.8M deaths in California (we only
have 150K homeless).

I mean come on  ... Isn't that why we are isolating to flatten the curve?

Z-Pak is the best Azithromyciin. I've taken it a couple times, it is a
"nuclear bomb" according to my doctor. - 3 pills in 3 days, and you are
cured. chloroquine has minor side affects, prob the worse is some

breakthroughs soon.

previous off-label arthritis drug candidates. The arthritis  drugs have
strict "black label" warnings . The drugs prevented the SARS type lung
damage but did not cure the virus. And, they made the patient extremely

the drug. So, those drugs were only being used on patients that were in
hospital isolation.

Hopefully, we'll find drugs that can be given to people at home.

This is great for our health care professionals. It means that rather
than losing one professional
for 2 weeks, that can be shortened to 6 days.

On the flipside - what has me worried now is Newsom out claiming that
56% of California residents will be infected within 1-2 months. I tried
last night to get the SIER model work, and even used the R-based Chinese
model on github, but I can't get more than 25% assuming worst case no
lockdown. I don't understand that but it seems like fear mongering to get
USNS Comfort (Navy Hospital ship) out into the bay. Jeesh, I don't know - I
hope he is wrong....

Something that young people like your employee might want to
consider is that a lot of young folks will end up in the ICU. Older 
people
die at a higher rate, but it doesn't mean that young people are 
immune or
will always just get mild symptoms. Some will still end up being
hospitalized, intubated, and on a ventilator. They will just have a 
better
chance of surviving the ordeal than their parents or grandparents.

home, old folks, young folks, and kid folks.

Haha - I bet! My strategy on bug control has been to buy the big
tarps at Horror Freight
(as Marino called it) and make sure you put that down like 10
minutes before you paint. Over here if you start between 10am to 
high noon,
you won't have to do the old tweezer trick to pull them off. Of 
course, not
having all this shitty pollen in the air helps as well :-)

(besides Titos), now here is a good one from an old timer (my Dad)

told me about the USAF missile command center stationed in the

listen to smooth jazz to stay calm. You even hear about now in the 
NYC Zoos
