The plugin has so many options you can get lost!!!
So here is the process:
1) you make a media gallery object
2) You insert your media gallery into a post
3) You check the date on the post (for the month it is relevant) (the date
you set is how it is indexed in the "recent posts" or "Archives" slider on
the top-level page)
4) you publish the page (use the other pages as templates, as noted the
media gallery had a carousel style but the posts used the album style -
which is a bit slower) - we're using the carousel style - I updated all of
them to match!
5) Send me email and I will add your media gallery to the main page
Anyhow, looks good now - if you guys could check it out that would be great.
Let me look into the menu bug Chris found ...

If you go to the Media Gallery page, http://tccrockets.com/
v2/media-gallery/ , the two galleries display almost immediately. What
you see is 4 thumbnail pics of each gallery shown at a time, and they
automatically scroll periodically to show you more pics from the gallery.
When you click on a pic, a pop-up window opens with a larger size photo,
and there are controls on the pop-up that allow you to move through the
gallery. There is a “play" control, like for starting a slideshow, but the
slideshow does not play for me. One other weird thing — if you click the
left-right controls to move through the pics on the DA2017 gallery,
eventually you start seeing pics for the cleaning party.
If you use the Archives link, you go to a different place than the Media
Gallery. This is the page for Dairy Aire 2017 http://tccrockets.com/v2/
dairy-aire-2017/ . This page wants to display all of the thumbnails at
once, not 4 at a time with the automatic scrolling. This pics do not load
immediately, and you see the twirling circle. When you click on a pic, a
pop-up window opens with a larger size photo, but this pop-up functions
differently from the one on the Media Gallery. The controls for stepping
through the gallery and viewing the slideshow are different from the other
one. Pics display at a different size from the other one. When you reach
the end of the gallery, it repeats from the beginning — it does not start
the next gallery.
I’d suggest you probably want to have the picture galleries displayed one
way or the other way, but probably not both.
