Reading the actual text it looks like the only revision to existing law is to
go from 500 grams (1.1 lb) total weight (engine and rocket) to 1500 grams (3.3
lb).
Doesn’t change the materials or anything else, as the support letter implies.
Step in the right direction, worth supporting.
It would be nice to just revise the law to match Federal law.

we need to support this because it would put California TARC (LPR & MPR) on a
fair playing field with the rest of the country.
but this bill does not address the CA HPR issues.
I'd be disappointed if the bill failed because we piled on all the HPR stuff.
