Okay, since everyone is joining in with technical questions for their
rocket projects, what the heck I got one too.
I want to mount a Mobius mini video cam on one of my rockets, but I wodered
if there was something I could accessorize it with that allows me to
activate/deactivate the camera remotely. Has anyone had experience with
that?
Otherwise the camera would be running a long time before the rocket would
start flying.
This is my first time trying to put a video camera on a rocket, so unlike
alot of you folks I am way behind the curve.

For gyro stabilization:
- Basically conservation of angular momentum [which has units of
kg-m^2/s]. Not spinning the whole rocket, just an internal spinning disc
- I did some experiments and roughly 1 kg-m^2/s of angular momentum can
offset/oppose torque of 1 N-m
- Angular Momentum = Inertia [kg-m^2]*spin rate [radians/second].
- If you estimate what torque you might see on your rocket using whatever
assumptions you want, you could estimate the required angular momentum
- then figure out what the corresponding inertia and spin rate is, and
we'll see what happens!
