Nice! Very cool. Did you build a test stand yet?

Upload to youtube and share it :)
For gyro stabilization:
- Basically conservation of angular momentum [which has units of
kg-m^2/s]. Not spinning the whole rocket, just an internal spinning disc
- I did some experiments and roughly 1 kg-m^2/s of angular momentum can
offset/oppose torque of 1 N-m
- Angular Momentum = Inertia [kg-m^2]*spin rate [radians/second].
- If you estimate what torque you might see on your rocket using whatever
assumptions you want, you could estimate the required angular momentum
- then figure out what the corresponding inertia and spin rate is, and
we'll see what happens!

I would like to hear more about the gyro stabilization system!
Is there a way I can share video from my VTS system rocket? I have some
cool onboard video where you can watch the control surfaces move with the
ground in the background.

Some experiments this week while the kids are away, with pictures:
- ejection test, 1g of black powder (by the way, where does everyone
get their black powder? I can find some pyrodex P powder)
- some hand made circuit board design for dc motor control
- experimental gyroscopic stabilization system
@ James - unlocked GPS is unlimited altitude?

I have the Defiance but my build list is really long and that one is
low in priority. I hope you post about it on Facebook for us to see.

Just thought I would start a new conversation on the positive side!
With the down time we are all having, what is everyone working on? I have
quite a few rockets in the works, and will be building Avbays all
weekend!
What you guys building?🚀
