I have never heard of this procedure nor have I ever heard of anyone having 
their front end bolts shear off.

  Remember to push the new beam towards the rear of the bus before completely 
tightening it down. This will prevent the bolts from shearing off during a 
panic stop. Obviously you'll need to make sure the bus is VERY stable when you 
do this.
