I have read allot on this subject. It comes up on the type 2 list 
often. I run regular. I ran nothing but premium for 10000 miles before 
I switched. If you can't tell a difference I would say stick with 
regular. I think you would be able to tell if it was pinging and 
knocking. The more octane the more advance you can run before you get 
pinging. If your bus will still climb those hills around your house 
without pinging and knocking or running your temps up there is no 
reason to spend the extra money for higher octane.
