I have read allot on this subject. It comes up on the type 2 list often. I run regular. I ran nothing but premium for 10000 miles before I switched. If you can't tell a difference I would say stick with regular. I think you would be able to tell if it was pinging and knocking. The more octane the more advance you can run before you get pinging.
