The day started with Owen and I making a trip to the closest VW dealership
to my house for an oil change in the egg. After the dealership's third
consecutive exhibit of how to treat your customers badly, this email could
have turned into an epic rant...
But instead I decided to make the trip to Georgetown to see the folks at
Hewlett VW. Edward and the people there are outstanding. I did not talk to
Ed until the service people happily put me in que for an oil change.
Shortly after that, I tracked down Ed. And the next thing you know we are
cruising to lunch in his baywindow. We got back and the egg was ready 15
min later. I stocked up on some of the cool VW goodies in the parts center,
a light rig for hauling trailors and we were on our way. Owen even got
hooked up with some little splitte and beetle toys.
Thanks a bunch Ed! You guys rock and you have my business!!!!!
