At least it didn't stink.  How's the flywheel saga coming along?

I think I figured out my troubles...I wasn't careful enough when I put the 
gears on my crank and buggered up the teeth.  And I got those things plenty hot 
prior to assembly.  Live and learn.  At least I haven't assembled the case yet.
