James: I will e-mail Joe Ingram and ask him what he did. I don't know if that is original trim or repo. ________________________________ From: James Dwan <james_dwan_2000@xxxxxxxxx> To: "tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tue, January 24, 2012 11:04:24 AM Subject: [tcb] Re: BJ Bus No matter how hard I tried I could not get my trim pieces that shiny. I am resisting the urge to go new. I tried Mother's and a buffing wheel but still not totally satisfied. ________________________________ From: sammie smith <bugcollections@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, January 24, 2012 7:53 AM Subject: [tcb] BJ Bus A link to a bus in this year's BJ auction. I met this couple on the Cal Treffen that I did last summer. This bus has won its class at the Cal Classic the past 3 or 4 years. Super nice bus and a really nice couple. Joe is currently restoring a 66 as well as an early SC. I guess it just goes to show that things are really worth some money. http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/01/23/a-volkswagen-bus-with-no-junk-in-its-trunk/
