[talks-uk] how to find out number of characters remaining in text message window

Hi,
On my phone when I open a new text message and while I'm typing it, it doesn't
say how many characters I've typed or have left until I go over the 160
characters but I've just been listening to a podcast and the phone on there
did. I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how I enable this option.
