hum, Saqib, that's interesting, the E71 only has an Surf style 3 chip set,
which is also the worse of the two available.

Hi Neil and Steve. I usually have the E71 in my pocket with a Bluetooth ear
piece connected and the GPS coverage is quite good. Even if I use 2 to 3
hours of Wayfinder and and text through out the day along with the use of
the internet I still find that there is usually 3 bars of battery life left
at the end of the day.

Steve,

I disagree here, using an external receiver drains battery heabily, it also
makes you a security risk, as you neef to realistically keep the phone in
your hand when walking using the internal receiver.

Also if you've then got it in your hands, if you fall over, your phone is
done for.

External GPS receivers everytime is the recommended course of action.

Hi John,

If you are talking about Nokia Maps, forget it. It is not that accessible.
You would be better off with Wayfinder Access.

No, you don't necessarily need an external receiver, the internal one is
quite good.

All the best

Steve

Hi List,

When I first went into the g p s on my Nokia N82 I thought there was an
option to pay for voice addition to the service. I can't seem to find it
anymore. Can anyone help?

Is the internal antenna good or do I have to buy an external antenna?

Kindest Regards, John
