Hi Neil and Steve. I usually have the E71 in my pocket with a Bluetooth ear piece connected and the GPS coverage is quite good. Even if I use 2 to 3 hours of Wayfinder and and text through out the day along with the use of the internet I still find that there is usually 3 bars of battery life left at the end of the day. Also if you've then got it in your hands, if you fall over, your phone is done for. External GPS receivers everytime is the recommended course of action. It is not that accessible. You would be better off with Wayfinder Access. No, you don't necessarily need an external receiver, the internal one is quite good. I can't seem to find it anymore. Can anyone help? Is the internal antenna good or do I have to buy an external antenna? Kindest Regards, John
