Yes, I'm thinking the same. Looking on an N70, there is an extra key on that which is assigned in Multimedia, so that's an idea, try it. I'd be interested to know what those keys do.

Hi,

I don't have an E65 to hand, but I think you will find those keys can be
redefined in Multimedia settings, not the regular shortcut settings.

All the best

Hi Badger

If you could assign the extra keys on the E65, wouldn't you do it in the
same place as described in my message to Jim? I've never seen the E65, so

can't say for sure.

on the same subject, does anybody know how to set functions for the 4
extra keys on the e65? i have set the key 1 and 2 plus the arrow keys etc

but there are 4 small keys that i assume can be programmed too but i
can't for the life of me find how to do it.

Hi Jim

Go into the phone's menu, tools, settings, phone, stand-by mode, and
arrow down to where it tells you what your left and right softkeys are
set to. To change this, bring up the options menu and select change.
Now you should be presented with a list where you can alter these
functions by selecting. Just back out by using softkey 2 when you've
done.

Hi List, I have an old Nokia
7610 and a nokia 6630. I can't rememberr how to assign keys to
different functions. E.g. 1 for contacts and 2 for messages etc. I've

done it once but I have looked through the different folders and can't
quite find how to do this.
All help much appreciated.
