Thanks Clive, that maybe the one key I haven't tried yet. I was mainly
using key 2 and the "end call" keys.

Hello Tim,
I am using a Nokia 6600 and when the calendar alarm sounds I press soft
key 1 to stop it. Pressing any other key snoozes the alarm for five
minutes. I cannot understand why it should keep sounding after the
appointment has been deleted. Have you tried soft key 1 on your phone?
