Hi Shell,

Talks should not change the appearance of the screen at all, unless you have
magnification turned on. Turn it off, and things should be normal.

You can also disable Talks. Inside the Talks program, Options, Disable Talks.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [talks-uk] Using Parts of Talks.

Hello, I've just joined the list and am fairly new to talking phones.
My partner
has some
useful sight and would like to use some of the talks features like having text
messages
read and using the text to speach book reader, but would like to be able to use
his sight
for browsing the net. It seems that when talks has been installed, the
internet looks
completely different and not very useable by a sighted person. Does anyone
know if there
is any way to overcome this problem so that the net stays as it was but talks
works on the
rest of the phone? Perhaps there is something that can be disabled or not
installed?
Many thanks,
Shell.
