Hi Pete, Sorry I'm replying to old messages, but I've just come back from South Africa. How does one find out what the newest firmware is for my 97 mini. Maybe that is it's problem. It has been doing some wierd things. Sometimes the phone just freezes, which it did while I was in S.A. I couldn't turn it on or off, had to wait till the battery ran down. Then it often says memory full, close some applications and try again, that is when I'm trying to enter into a contact or the message section. The only way I can fix it is to turn the phone off and on again. Plus you cannot use the 5th edition soft keys 3, 4 & 5 like are on some touch devices... The mobile speak implemtation of support is not standard to the phone interface so you are not using the devices in a way that a sighted person would be able to help if needed and it de-activates the normal touch screen interface so if someone not familiar with mobile speak needed to use the devices they might struggle.... Mobile speak have added speech support to the devices but Talks has added support to the UI as it is which is far more impressive to dial a number during a call you jusr need to change Talks in the Talks application so that it does not immediately mute during a call and you will then get the Talks feedback. Always best to make sure the devices have up to date firmware for best results too cheers Pete
