I wouldn't make any assumptions about the release of the next version of
Talks being a long time. Remember, Marcus is still very much alive, and I
sincerely hope he will keep Talks alive for all of us. He is another
brilliant programmer, and alongside Torsten, he is dynamite!

This will be sad news to any user of the talks software and a tragic
loss for the accessible phone users community generally. According to
reports, Torsten Brand, lead developer for Talks died last night from
complications during a Hernia operation. Information is scarce at the
moment, but doubtless there will be a press release in the upcoming
future and I will of course pass this on as soon as I hear anything.
