Personally I use o2 mobile web for email and I found post pay wap works in my
case for web browsing though I have a nokia 6630 at the moment so only really
use bbc wap pages and national rail wap to be honest.

I am on an O2 contract by the way.

Cheers

Subject: [talks-uk] O2

Hi All

Not strictly TALKS related, but I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Using a Nokia N82 with a new O2 PAYG SIM. I have installed the WAP and Picture
Messaging settings they sent me. However, when I try to connect to my Email
through the messaging program, I am asked which connection I want to use. I am
selecting O2 Prepay WAP, is this right? It works fine for browsing, but when I
use it for Email, it starts the connection process and then nothing happens. It
does not come back and tell me it can't connect, it just sort of freezes. When
I press key 1 it says "Key 1" And when I press key 2 it cancels the process. No
matter how long I leave it for, still nothing else happens. I've tried
connecting using the other access points such as O2 gprs and O2 mobile web, but
get a response like "Gateway not responding".

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Do I need some additional settings
from O2?

Kind Regards

Barbara
