I couldn't imagine buying a phone now and not using the web, its so easy from my point of view and can be both productive or just pass the time well depending on what I am doing. I do know not everyone wants these features but hopefully Nuance understand that enough people do to crack on and make it work.

Hi Saqib,

Yes, there is a new web browser and Email client. Believe it or not though,
some people don't use the phone for the web or Email. If this fits you, then
the N86 is definitely worth it, and I know that Nuance are working on these
problems.

All the best

Steve

For what I've read about it so far! I think I would wait for the web and
e-mail to be accessible before I would even consider buying the phone.
Phones these days are multi media tools and the web is part of the
entertainment. No phone is worth it's price if these features aren't
accessible. Why isn't the web browser accessible? Is there a new web browser

installed on these phones?

Many thanks all for your contributions on this one. It sure is a lovely
phone I have to say, but I'm looking at it from the point of view that the
K-Reader may well end up on there as it is being beta tested in the States
at the moment, and it is very tactile for those who struggle in that regard.

A lovely piece of kit, even if it is a little weighty. I see that Expansys
are offering it unlocked for £349 at the moment. Hmmm! Christmas is a way
off yet, but there's no harm preparing my Santa letter? (lol).

Hi Jackie
I have the n86 and you can use most of the phone with talks, without any
problems. However it's not a phone that is fully supported by nuance yet.

Hi All

I've had a look at the N86, and it is a seriously nice piece of kit.
But does it work with all the usual features associated with Talks such
as contacts, calendar, texting etc?

A very lovely tactile baby by the way!
