Hi. Turn by turn instructions are given 50 yards before you even get to the actual turning. Now I can see some one ending up in a carwash with that particular application. On the screen it will clearly display that there are 50 yards remaining but the voice prompt is premature. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carla Savage" <carla@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi,I have used the maps facility. I think it depends what version you have on your phone but I've used a turn by turn facility which at least gives you an idea of where you are going. I did try it out while walking, on a route I knew. To a degree it worked but you got no clue as to what was around you.Hope this is useful, Carla. At 19:54 03/08/2009, you wrote:Hi. Not as far as I'm concerned. I have the N95 and have opened that application and had no joy but that might be because I'm a numpty and just don't know how to access them properly. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I think they are as useful to someone without sight as a crocheted condom.
