Hi there;
I went to pod casting under music and searched around a bit.
I found no option to turn off wifi, However, I tried to turn "the search
setting and turn on " manual" only.
This did not work so I changed the option for wifi search to 1 per day and
this seemed to improve the inconvenience of the frequent pop up.

Hi. May be your podcasting program is trying to connect to wifi and
you need to go into the podcast settings menu and turn wifi connection
off.
