Hi Charles,
If you go into Settings, you can define loads of shortcuts, like next
chapter, verse, etc. For example, I have 1 and 3 moving by verse, 4 and 6
by Chapter, and 7 and 9 by Book. 0 moves me to the end of the book and I
believe 2 to the beginning. All this is user definable.

Hi,
I managed to get this working, on my Nokia N96.
The file which I had to download was s60bible-0.99-blind-s60v3.sisx, from
the below site. I installed this and then went back into the "Files"
location (link from below page) and downloaded a version of the Bible
(this was a PDB file). I manually copied the latter to a folder on my
phone's memory and then installed the first file mentioned.
The software came up talking and advised me to Refresh the Bible List. I
did this and my version of the Bible was detected.
When I go to a specific chapter or verse, Talks reads out the content of
that verse automatically, however, If I wish to read the next verse, I
need to select Options, Navigation, Verse and then Next. Does anyone know
if a shortcut key combination could accomplish this more easily? I tried
the left, right, up and down toggle to no avail. I also tried some of the
numeric keys, but no joy.
If a good shortcut combination was in place for reading forwards or
backwards through Scripture, this would be a very handy and useful package
on the phone. The software is indeed accessible, however, is cumbersome if
folks want to read through successive verses (one verse is displayed on
the phone screen at a time).
