Hi Steve,

I haven't seen the 5800, but the X6 clicks at you when you're over a
clickable area, similar to what the iPhone does. I just installed Talks on
it just now without sighted assistance.

Doesn't the 5800 have an option like that?

Hi Paul,

This is extremely difficult, even I who install Talks most days, have not
cracked it yet. The reason is that it is hard to know when you are pressing
Key1, because it is not fphysically on the screen.

Save yourself some grief and get a pair of eyes to help you. I am working
on it, but am not there yet.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [talks-uk] INSTALLING TALKS ON A NOKIA 5800 XPRESS MUSIC

Hello List members, I have acquired a nokia 5800 xpress music smartphone.
Some of you on this list have used touch screen phones such as the N97
minny, what are your experiences?
I would like to be able to install talks5 to this phone. Could someone
please advise me the best possible way of doing this with no sight.
The correct date and time are already set in the phone, so this is not an
issue. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

All the best
