Press the 1 key quickly five times. If you wait to hear what's being
announcted it will cycle back to the start again, so you have to press it
quickly enough five times and the figure 1 should be inserted.

I have a funny feeling that this is a really dummy question. But it
won't be the first I've asked, so here goes.
When texting, how do I write figure 1? I can manage all the other
figures of course by pressing the letter keys four times etc., but I
have not yet discovered the figure 1. Advice welcome!
