You can have this on Orange if you want it, it's music somebody calling you
hears at the same time as the ringing tone. I had it for a while.

Cheers

Alex

Hi Elanor and Amro,

I'll see if the person with this ring tone can tell me how it's done and get
back to you all when I find out.

Jim

Hi Jim,

You mean something akin to the music you hear at the other end when you are
placed on hold, right?

This is most probably a network service. Most of the network providers I
have come across abroad offer this add-on service, and customers can choose
from a list of tunes what callers hear when they phone them. Yet to see this
service offered over here though. Do you know who this someone's network
provider is?

Best,

Amro

Hi,

Can anyone on this list tell me if and how to change the outgoing ring tone
on a mobile phone. The reason is that I phoned someone the other day and
instead of getting the normal ringing before the phone is answered, I got
"the red nose reindeer music instead before the phone was answered and I'm
wondering how this was achieved, anyone know?

Thanks in advance.

Jim
