Hi Eleanor

I've tried to find your email address to reply off list, but could not find it in the properties section.

I have indeed spoken to Neil on Tuesday afternoon who has absolutely assured me that it would be a fee of £150 even if I have the free standard talks installed by Vodafone. Perhaps I shouldn't have said I already have this!

Mark

various dealers Mark.?you could contact Neil Barnfather at Talk Nav by telephone, there is Steve Nutt at Computer Room Services and RNIB, for starters. I will be surprised if any of these will charge more than fifty pounds. In fact I know they won't charge you any more than that. I am in London. Send me an e-mail off list if you have any other problem.

Dear Eleanor
Could I be cheeky and ask you where you bought the upgrade from?

   Dear All

I've just upgraded from a Nokkia 6210 to a E5 using the free version of Talks installed by Vodafone.

However, as I've now discovered and several have advised me on this list, the standard Talks version will not work on the Nokkia browser when going on-line to the internet, although Talks works with all the other phone functions such as contacts and texting etc.

I have been in touch with the technical services at talknav.com, who now advise me I need to spend £150 buying Talks and having the premium version. I then understand if I want to upgrade to a new mobile phone in the future I will only have to spend £50.

Vodafone have said they will put £50 of credit on my account but I suspect will not go to £150, so I'm left with either trying another model of hone with the free version of Talks from Vodafone or considering an Iphone with the built in accessibilities.

Has anyone else been in this situation and what other mobile phones are people using on the internet with a speech programme?

   Thanks

   Mark

mobile in the future I will only need to
