Well OK Mark, I appeal to Talks Dealers please to address this question of
yours on list. It may be that there has been a change in policy that I am
unaware of but I know a dealer who was able to do this for a client recently.

  Hi graham

Are you able to use your mobile on the internet with your talks? Presumably
you have the Premium version and I'd please be interested to know what mobile
phone model you have please?

  Thanks Mark

My understanding is that Talks Standard is installed by Vodafone. it costs
£50 to upgrade from talks standard to talks premium so you should be sorted.

If this is wrong I am sure Neil from talknav will explain why and he has
dealt with talks and Vodafone far more than me so he will know (smile).

    Dear All

I've just upgraded from a Nokkia 6210 to a E5 using the free version of
Talks installed by Vodafone.

However, as I've now discovered and several have advised me on this list,
the standard Talks version will not work on the Nokkia browser when going
on-line to the internet, although Talks works with all the other phone
functions such as contacts and texting etc.

I have been in touch with the technical services at talknav.com, who now
advise me I need to spend £150 buying Talks and having the premium version. I
then understand if I want to upgrade to a new mobile phone in the future I
will only have to spend £50.

Vodafone have said they will put £50 of credit on my account but I suspect
will not go to £150, so I'm left with either trying another model of hone with
the free version of Talks from Vodafone or considering an Iphone with the built
in accessibilities.

Has anyone else been in this situation and what other mobile phones are
people using on the internet with a speech programme?

    Thanks

    Mark

mobile in the future I will only need to
