Hi Pele and Eleanor Yes you are correct you need to use headphones for the radio but when you plug them in it brings up the option to use a music stand. I had the radio working a couple of times last for about a minute, it let me browse a couple of stations but then it stopped, it took a lot of fiddling to get this far. On the earphones, near the top there is a button on a clip, I'm not quite sure what this is for? When I pressed the centre of the button, I seemed to have more luck with the radio, not sure why. Ok about the speakers. Occasionally it will work if I turn Talks off first, but it is not reliable. There was some discussion about it on this list. Talks uses the same channel as the radio, so there is a conflict. Apparently radios on Nokia phones are non-standard, so Talks cannot be coded to work with all of them. I am not sure I quite understand this, as it should not matter if one turns Talks off before turnin the radio on. I would be interested to know if there is any way around this as I would like to use the radio. I use the same speakers for my phone as I use for my Victor Reader Stream. Pele
