Carol, You might like to try Smart Connect, which is a free program available from http://www.birdstep.com/Products/Birdstep/SmartConnect/ It allows you to set up your preferred order of connections, so you can specify that you want a connection with your router to be attempted first, followed by your O2 connection as your second preference only if the router is unavailable. I use this on my N82 and it always picks my router when I'm in range, but goes for my T-Mobile connection when I'm away from home. Having made an access point for my home network to connect to the internet, I am just totally unable to ensure that this becomes my default and that O2 is asked for and connected *ONLY AFTER* I choose and I'm not at home. It just seems, though all relevant boxes appear checked, that settings aren't sticking ... and it's just not happening! (O2 is just collecting money from me each time I try ...) If anyone has any good suggestions - having been back over the boxes a few times and already made sure that my home wireless is the first setting in the list and I've switched off a few times also - please let me know.
