TalkSerotek: windows live mail

Hi folks,
I am hoping someone can share some experience using Windows live mail.
I want to possibly install it for a student who does not have outlook
and is having some trouble with the generic windows mail client and
system access.
When I tried to download it to investigate it, I don't think I got the
file I needed. I tried to get the program through the system access
help and associated link but it did not look right. Thanks for any help.
