TalkSerotek: docuscan plus

Can you help please?
I have been happily using this for some time, but, now, the selected pdf file
(ipad user guide),does not appear on the screen, it just goes blank! I then get
the " internet explorer cannot open this file" prompt, even though I have set
SA as my browser!
I am using SA and Samnet and windows 7.
Any help and advice would be gratefully received!
