Hi Joanne,I am a bit confused on this one. Please explain what you mean by the person having your license? That may be the issue.
Generally if you are connecting to your system from another computer and for whatever reason you have no screen reader enabled on the home system you should be able to connect and start the screen access product of your choice at that time.
