What exactly is a netbook? I've heard of a notebook, but not a netbook.

Don't give up. a month ago, I bought the Asus Eee 1000 HA netbook, it has a ten inch screen almost a normal size key board, and it is very fast. I really do like it allot.

Hi Don on most Netbooks the battery is in the system tray itgives percentage and time left remaining I just bought a netbook but took it back as i found them very slow and frustrating waiting for it to catch up so im checking out the toshiba L300 range at mo, hope this helps Andrew
