I have a curious question. I am trying to make a simple narrative recording
and for some reason when I play it back, the speech is speeded up and somewhat
distorted. Any ideas why? Larry

depending on the OS, you'll have to fiddle with volume control to select the
microphone, it is all I can think of which would give you a variable result.

I previously recorded a document with Studio Recorder on my laptop; the
document recorded beautifully. A few days later, I plugged the mic in again,
tried to record by pressing F6, and got nothing but blank space. I made sure
the left and right mic jacks were plugged in correctly, and that the mic switch
was set to "on". Anything else I can try?
