Hi, I ask the following question with the knowledge that SR is as wonderful
an editing app as there is. However, the assembly of podcasts and other
programs is becoming more and more complicated and is harder to do with SR
alone. More and more people need things like equalization and other
effects. So, my question is this. Will APH continue to make the focus of
this application one that works for recording talking books, or is it likely
that SR can grow at least a little to meet some of the other needs people
have? Obviously, SR is good for more than talking book recording, but those
of us who use it and need to do more complicated recording would benefit
greatly from knowing the thinking of APH on this point. If SR stays the
same, that is fine. At least we will know that and will stop asking for
additional effects, etc. Of course we will have to find these effects in
other recording applications as many of us do already. But learning a
totally different app for people who are using it for the first time is a
daunting process. And yet, this may have to be done if people need features
that are not in SR and only want to use one recording application for their
work.
If, on the other hand, SR will grow in the future, is there any information
you can give us as to what some of the new features might be?
