[studiorecorder] Indication of record state

Hoping someone clever can help me. In the advanced setting list I have checked
the box for indicate record status with sound. It plays a sound at the end of
the recording, but it isn't at the beginning. Any idea how to get that sound. I
thought this setting did both, start and end. Thanks. Regards Janine
