Hi Solomon, 1. The different dip/rise types change the signal level differently, with exponential being the most aggressive. Example: a linear fade only sounds slightly more quiet at the mid point than at the start, because the mid point is only about 6 dB lower than the start. 2. The percentages in the dip/rise dialog refer to the location of the dip/rise points in the selection and are not relative to the document. Use the selection commands to select the region of the document to be affected by the dip/rise. What is the difference in outcome between the four dip/rise types? That is between Linear, LinearSquared, Sine Curve, and Exponential. 2. Is there a specific way to designate the start and finish of the dip/rise other than percentage of the file? Thanks. Solomon.
