Hi all, I would like to add my support for Sean's idea as well! That way, people would not have to use another piece of software beside studio recorder. I am new to the list. Thanks for having me. I have had SR for about 5 or so years now. I love it very much. I have a feature idea that would hopefully benefit the use of the multi-track recording part of Studio Recorder. I use the multi-track feature very much to write music to the computer. I sometimes mess up on one or more tracks, but am good with others. I think it would be awesome if we could look at the individual tracks that we recorded and delete the one/s that we think could use improvement. and rerecord them leaving the other tracks in place. As it is now. If we make a 4 track song and realize that we messed up on say track 2, we have to undo the recording of tracks 4, 3, and 2. then rerecord the messed up track plus redo tracks 3 and 4. I think it would also be neet if we could individually controll various aspects of each track as well such as volume, panning, and so on. I have GoldWave, but, I don't use it much anymore if any at all because of the ease of use of SR. If Sr could be made to have the features specified above, I wouldn't need to use another multi-track recorder at all. I do know and understand that SR was esencially created for the recording of digital talking books, but, since the idea of recording multi-tracks was introduced quite a while back. I thought I would try requesting those possible features. Well, I think I have rambled on long enough. I hope to talk with you all soon. Take care and stay safe!!!!! Have a wonderful day.
