Yes, Elmore is trying commands like sit, and rest in both elven and common but
being that he didn’t train them, nor were they ever his dogs, they might not
respond to him. It might help if they recognize him from being on the trip with
Cara and see him as part of her pack. She did just hand out a lot of healing
earlier meaning she had to get close to everyone including Elmore to hand out
her berries. One good thing is Elmore’s protection, he isn’t easily hit.

whacks Joseph twice. Joseph will score a hit on Maximus. Sean's next two arrows
miss as he was trying not to hit the gnomish horde around the Dwarf entering
the fray. Hagar hits once. Manrug will hit once as well. Maximus took his next
swings at Kelbis hitting once and then dropping one end of this halbred. He
quickly recovers it but will go later next round.
Round 4
The party will lose initiative and Hagar
will take 34 HPs of damage from Maximus on three hits. Hagar and Kelbis will
each hit Maximus once. Sean will miss three times. Joseph will also miss.
Manrug and Calji each miss as well. The dogs are whimpering.
As the round ends, Elmore casts his hold
person and Maximus Largeskull seems to stop moving.
