Yes, he spent some time in New Orleans as well and did a lot of scouting
administration and grunt work during that time. I really like the Weidl

I’m happy, the search was thorough and this is the result. And Doug

Khan is obviously liked by the organization and coveted by others. His
flaw is his lack of football knowledge if the Steelers were looking for a
Colbert clone. With his alleged hire they needed a football guy. Once they
decided on Khan did they choose between Wiedle over Hunt for Assistant or
was Hunt offered the job and turned it down. I am sure we will never know,
but curious.
