Ron and net, It's not always clear who the geopolitical decision makers are, but it's a good guess that one can follow the money in these situations and come to fairly sound conclusions. President Bush and Obama were/are the most powerful visible figures that Americans and people around the world see. But ultimately they're not the policy makers. That job falls to those persons/entities with the most money/power. The entirety of 9/11 and it's aftermath, including the Anthrax attacks and the incredible opposition to an open and honest investigation of the attacks made me sick to my stomach. I think a lot of us felt a very disturbing sense of doom, not from Islamic terrorists, but because so much did not add up right and didn't ring true. It's hard to explain one's feelings, but I remember it all really hit home the day I stepped into a Home Depot and saw front and center many pallets of duct tape and plastic wrap, and sale signs to buy it for home protection. Americans all over the country were actually apparently wrapping their homes in plastic against a chemical attack they were told would come soon from Islamic drones. It was so surreal, like going down the rabbit hole. This author, and Paul Craig Roberts, etc., are thrashing around trying to make sense of what happened, without having all the facts. I don't know who has all the facts, if anyone. All I know is that there is a hell of a lot that we DON'T know and a hell of a lot that smelled fishy from the outset. I do know however that we are constantly fed stories for public consumption that rarely have anything to do with reality. The power entities that make history-changing geopolitical decisions have their agenda, and regularly sculpt the message to us citizens in any way that will most likely result in our supporting that agenda. Sometimes it's the truth, other times it's lies, and still other times it's half truths. Most people either don't have the time or inclination to ferret out which is which, and so a majority can usually be relied upon to get on the bandwagon. Our recent activities in Syria are a perfect example. Despite what the official message of 'Assad must go because he's a ruthless dictator and gases his own people', the truth is, he wins elections and is fairly popular with the civilized portion of the population. The gas attack accusations are suspect and appear to be simply the catalyst excuse used by the powers trying to get rid of him. Much more likely what is happening in Syria is a proxy war against Russia by the West. Assad has always been more friendly with Russia and the oil pipeline wars may not go in the West's favor with Assad in power. We're actually at war with Russia on two fronts, Ukraine being the second front. In the last few years we have armed the opposition to Assad, regardless of how evil and brutal extremists they are. And now that policy is coming back to bite us on the ass. ISIS may have captured weapons from the Iraqi Army, but they're also coming South across the Syrian border with American weapons and military vehicles. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out how they got them. In a sane world, we would work with Assad to fight the ISIS rebels. An effective pincher operation could defeat ISIS with the U.S./Peshmerga/Iraqi forces moving north and west and Assad's forces moving south and east. We won't do that though. Obama instead will further arm Syrian rebels of questionable loyalties with the hope that after an unsure victory over ISIS that those rebels will turn against Assad. Even if that happens, then what? The numb skulls who cheered on and supported the so-called Arab Spring either haven't learn a thing or somehow believe that chaotic Islamic extremism is a worthwhile goal wherever it can be established. After all, that's exactly what has happened in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, and partially in Iraq. Kelly A. On September 11, 2000, one year before 9/11, this faction, which has taken over the US government, according to retired General Wesley Clark (see video of that below), released their plan, "Rebuilding America's Defenses". This document outlined the need for a "new Pearl Harbor" in order to facilitate the expansion of the military industrial complex and the US empire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY2DKzastu8 As Clark outlined, within days of 9/11, the orders and plans were already laid out to attack Afghanistan and to "take out seven countries in five years". He says, the plans after Afghanistan were, "to start in Iraq and then move to Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Iran." Those plans, so far, have been carried out in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. And, just yesterday, Obama stated his plans to attack Syria. The reason for attacking Syria is just as ridiculous and untrue as it was for Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. This time, they say they must attack Syria because of this ragtag group of "terrorists" which just appeared out of nowhere called ISIS. Of course, they didn't really come out of nowhere, the US armed the group now known as ISIS to create chaos in Syria originally, just a few months ago, and now say that they pose a serious threat to the US... exactly like they did with Al-Qaeda. Millions of men, women and children have been killed, tortured or displaced all based on the US government's official lie of 9/11. Trillions of dollars have been wasted and destroyed and a global police state is being rolled out to protect us from "terrorists". The good news is that every year more people wake up to what really happened on 9/11. One of the most interesting and detailed explanations of it all comes from Barbara Honneger who has done countless hours of investigation into the event, specifically on the bombs that were planted in the Pentagon and reveals a bounty of new information here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fvJ8nFa5Qk AWAKENING The amount of people waking up to and speaking up about 9/11 continues to grow. Even in the last few months, Ron Paul has begun to go public questioning the official story of 9/11. Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth continues to grow its ranks and was recently featured with their information on C-SPAN. They will also be showing a video replay of WTC Building 7's demolition on a video billboard near Times Square in New York today. What used to bring many of us "truthers" ridicule has flipped. Now those who believe the US government's official conspiracy theory on 9/11 are the ones being laughed out of cocktail parties. This is no laughing matter, however. This issue and its exposure means the difference between a century ahead of pure hell, if not exposed fully. Edmund Burke once said, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing," and that is truly the case today. -RR
